Steve Peters is a Los Angeles-based designer of transmedia and Alternate Reality Games. Most recently, he was the Lead Experience Designer for Fourth Wall Studios’ dark comedy Dirty Work, and has been a key player in developing and designing some of the biggest and most successful interactive engagement campaigns in the world, including The Dark Knight’s “Why So Serious,” The Watchmen’s “Six Minutes to Midnight” Nine Inch Nails’ Year Zero album and “Dead Man’s Tale” for Pirates of the Caribbean II: Dead Man’s Chest.
Steve currently serves as VP of Experience Design at Fourth Wall Studios, and has held several senior management and experience design positions at companies including 42 Entertainment and No Mimes Media, which he co-founded.
J.C. Hutchins is an award-winning writer and freeleance transmedia storyteller, with more than 15 years of professional writing experiences. His recent projects include “Dark Score Stories” for the A&E miniseries Stephen King’s Bag of Bones; “Edgar Allen Poe,” an educational transmedia experience for high school students; and “Join The colony” for the discovery Channel. He is also co-creator and co-author of the transmedia novel Personal Effects: Dark Art, and the author of 7th Son: Descent, both published in 2009 by St. Martin’s Press.
His work has been featured by The New York Times, The Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, USA TODAY, NP’s Weekend Edition and the BBC.
